Miner Network Ratings (MNR)

Miner Network Ratings (MNR) is a system designed to evaluate and rank miners based on their performance and contributions to the AIRO Network. The MNR score is crucial in determining the rewards miners receive, incentivizing them to maintain high standards of operation.

How MNR is Calculated

The MNR score is calculated using the formula:

$$MNR = \frac{\text{Uptime Rating} \times (\text{Age Rating} + \text{STEAM Rating})}{200}$$

• Uptime Rating: Assessed every 5 minutes, ranging from 0 to 1. It reflects the proportion of time an AIRO A1 Air Miner is online during the period.

• Age Rating: Starts at 100 when the AIRO A1 Miner is first connected and decreases by approximately 0.06849 per day of operation, reflecting the operational lifetime of some sensors. The Age Rating does not decrease during periods of inactivity..

• STEAM Rating: Represents the miner's virtual health, starting at 100 when no $AIRO has been withdrawn. If all $AIRO is withdrawn, the STEAM Rating drops to 50.

Examples of MNR Calculation

1. Perfect Conditions:

$$MNR = \frac{1 \times (100 + 100)}{200} = \frac{200}{200} = 1.0$$

1. Variable Conditions:

Here, the variable conditions refer to differences in miner performance metrics such as uptime, age rating, and STEAM rating.

Miner with perfect uptime (1), slightly decreased age rating (99.04), and full STEAM rating (100):

$$MNR = \frac{1 \times (99.04 + 100)}{200} = \frac{199.04}{200} = 0.9952$$

Miner with 90% uptime (0.9), age rating (99.11), and full STEAM rating (100):

$$MNR = \frac{0.9 \times (99.11 + 100)}{200} = \frac{179.199}{200} = 0.895995$$

Miner with 70% uptime (0.7), age rating (99.25), and half STEAM rating (50):

$$MNR = \frac{0.7 \times (99.25 + 50)}{200} = \frac{104.175}{200} = 0.520875$$

Dynamic Rewards Calculation

The total weekly rewards pool (Y) is divided among the miners based on their MNR scores. For example, if the total annual rewards are 20 million $AIRO, the weekly rewards (Y) would be:

$$Y = \frac{20,000,000}{52} = 384,615.38$$

For minute-based rewards:

$$R = \frac{384,615.38}{2016} \approx 190.78$$

For a miner with a perfect MNR in a network of 𝑁 miners:

$$M = \frac{190.78}{N} \times MNR$$

Pool and Burn Allocation

Remaining tokens not distributed to miners are managed as follows:

Remaining Rewards Calculation:

Remaining = Total Rewards - Distributed Rewards

Pool and Burn Allocation:

Pool = Remaining / 2

Burn = Remaining / 2

This dynamic approach ensures miners are continuously incentivized to maintain high uptime and performance, aligning rewards with real-time network liveness. The system promotes fairness and engagement while maintaining the stability and health of the AIRO Network.
