📊Miner Network Ratings (MNR)

The AIRO Miner Network Rating (MNR) is equal to the Uptime Rating multiplied by the sum of the Age Rating and the STEAM Rating, all divided by two hundred.

MNR = (Uptime Rating * (Age Rating + STEAM Rating))/200

The Uptime Rating is determined on a weekly basis, ranging from 0 to 1 in 0.1 increments depending on the time an AIRO A1 Air Miner is online, where 0 is 0 time spent online during one week and 1 is 24/7 time spent online.

The Age Rating starts at 100 when an AIRO A1 MINER is first connected to the AIRO Network and decreases to 0 over the course of the next four years as we are factoring in the 4-year operation lifetime on some of the sensors of the A1 Air Miner . This comes at 0.06849 decrease each 24 hours the miner is online.

The STEAM Rating = The virtual health of the miner. Is 100 when there have been no $AIRO withdrawals from the miners' account and is 50 when all $AIRO from the miner have been withdrawn.

Rewards are distributed based on these ratings, with those with higher ratings earning more using the formula:

M= Miner Weekly Rewards= (Y/N)*MNR

Y = (YearRewards)/52

N=Number of Miners on the network at the beginning of the week

Penalties are also imposed for those with lower ratings, with the penalty pool being split 50/50 between burning and staking pools.

Examples of calculating weekly rewards:

In our two scenario we will be calculating the rewards for the first and second week of the first year of issuance under ideal and less than ideal conditions with 1000 miners.

Calculating rewards for miners on a weekly basis for our first scenario involves taking the total amount of the first-year issuance (35 million $AIRO) and dividing it by the number of weeks (52). This results in Y = 35,000,000/52 = 673,076.92307 $AIRO being available each week and is a constant calculated each year for each of the 14 years of issuance.

1. Scenario 1: 1000 Miners, each with maximum MNR

In our first example, there are 1000 miners with perfect MNR and no penalties, meaning they each receive M = (Y/N)*MNR = (673,076.92307/1000)* ((1*(100+100)/200)) = 673.07692307 $AIRO/Miner.

This scenario is impossible as we have not taken into consideration the aging of the miners after 7 days. In reality, the equation looks like this:

M = (Y/N)*MNR = (673,076.92307/1000)* ((1*(99.52057+100)/200)) = 671.463456724 $AIRO/Miner.

After the first week, we will have a remaining $AIRO pool of:

P = Y-T

Where T=Total Rewards Distributed that week = 671.463456724*1000

P = 673,076.92307-671.463456724*1000 = 1613.466346 $AIRO which would be split equally to the DAO (806.733173 $AIRO) and burned (806.733173 $AIRO).

2. Scenario 2: 983 Miners, with imperfect MNR due to various Penalties

In the second example, on the second week, we have a total of 983 Miners present at the first snapshot of the 2nd week, with 0 having perfect MNR and no penalties.

800 Miners have an Uptime Rating of 1 (been online 27/7 on the third week), an Age Rating of 99.04114 (100-14*0.06849) (aged 14 days of the first two weeks as they were permanently online) and a STEAM Rating of 100 as they did not withdraw any of the first week's rewards. The Weekly Rewards for any of these 800 miners is M1 = (673,076.92307/983)* ((1* (99.04114+100)/200))= 681.434374748 $AIRO/Miner.

T1 = 800*681.434374748 = 545,147.499798 $AIRO

100 Miners have an Uptime Rating of 0.9 (been online 151 Hours out of 168), an Age Rating of 99.10963 (100-13*0.06849) (aged 13 days of the first two weeks as they were permanently online only in the first week, but only 6 days out of the 7 of the second week) and a STEAM Rating of 100 as they did not withdraw any of the first week's rewards. The Weekly Rewards for any of these 100 miners is M2= (673,076.92307/983)* ((0.9* (99.10963+100)/200))=613.501970512 $AIRO/Miner.

T2 = 100*613.501970512 = 61,350.1970512 $AIRO

The remaining 83 miners have the same various MNR penalties. They have an Uptime Rating of 0.7 (They have been online 117.6 Hours out of 168), an Age Rating of 99.24661 (100-11*0.06849) (aged 11 days of the first two weeks as they were permanently online only in the first week, but only 5 days out of the 7 of the second week) and a STEAM Rating of 50 as they withdrew all of the first week's rewards. The Weekly Rewards for any of these 83 miners is M3= (673,076.92307/983)* ((0.7* (99.24661+50)/200))=357.670978261 $AIRO/Miner.

T3 = 100*357.670978261 = 35,767.0978261 $AIRO

So, after the second week, we will have a remaining $AIRO pool of:

P = Y-(T1+T2+T3) = 673,076.92307- 642,264.794675 =30,812.128395 $AIRO which would be split equally to the DAO (15,406.0641975 $AIRO) and burned (15,406.0641975 $AIRO).
